The Parallel Seismic method allowed us to confirm the depth of an existing sheet piled wall prior to deepening of a berth in Gosport.
NDT is pleased to have been providing instrumentation and remote consultancy services to East African Piling for a major project some 30km from the Ugandan capital Kampala. EAP has installed approximately 400 No. 600mm diameter CFA piles using a Soilmec CM50 piling rig. This rig is fitted with an NDT instrumentation system and, with the piling data being uploaded automatically to the NDTDataCloud online server, all of EAP's vital construction information is readily accessible on any browser enabled device and from any global location. The remote data connectivity of the instrumentation system also allows NDT's engineers to monitor performance from our base here in the UK. Additionally, and again from our UK base, NDT has been providing independent expert analysis and remote reporting services on pile integrity test data recorded from the Kampala site. A great day to be on the waterfront as we get ready to verify the depths of steel sheet piles installed alongside the River Itchen in Southampton using the Parallel Seismic Method.
